Applications go through Airtable and are reviewed on a rolling basis. You will be asked for your name and email, your organisation and role, which sector you work in, and a short note on what you are working on — places are curated deliberately, so that note is the part that matters. There are fields for access needs and dietary requirements, and we contact you directly to confirm arrangements.
Join the coordination channel
Attendees averaged 7.8 new connections each in 2025. That is not what happens when 150 people are left to find each other over coffee — we open a Slack workspace ahead of the forum so the introductions are already made by the time you arrive.
What people actually use it for
- Booking meetings in advance. The office-hours and 1:1 slots fill up before the doors open. Arranging them here beats improvising in a coffee break.
- Finding the people working on your problem. Post what you are working on in #introductions and we point you at the three people you should be talking to.
- Proposing a meet-up room. If four people want a session on something the programme does not cover, say so and we will find you a room on the day.
- Sorting logistics. Travel, accommodation and getting to Carlton House Terrace on a Saturday morning.
Everyone who registers is sent an invite automatically with their confirmation — you do not need to ask twice. The workspace opens on 1 September, ahead of registration closing.

No. The call for posters is open to anyone who wants to present current work, but it is entirely separate from registration.
